The par 72 golf course designed by the famous architect Marco Croze extends on a well-maintained surface of 70 hectares catering for all technical levels. The course is characterised by long fairways, large greens and wide areas of natural sand, the 18 hole golf course is designed to fit perfectly between the areas of water and the lush greenery of the pine forest for a varied and exciting game. The Golf Club Lignano is also the location of international competitions including the Italian Women’s Open in 1993-94, the PGA’s Champions Trophy of Europe in 2008, and the Alps Tour, Servizitalia Open in 2012.
The Club House, designed in 1995 by Studio Parmegiani Giacomuzzi Moore, is situated at the entrance of the club. The space is large and cosy and offers to members and guests every comfort to relax after the 18 holes on the course. A large terrace overlooking the putting green and the eighteenth hole green is pleasantly used as outer room of the restaurant and bar during the warmer months. Internally, the club provides a restaurant, a fully stocked pro-shop, a beauty center and for those who want to stay more than one day, a cosy hotel with 24 rooms.
