The Golf: 

Is Arenas Golf Club is located on the Centre-west Sardinia’s coast. Immerged in more than 750 Hectares of Pine forest, the Club has its own 4Km long white sandy beach. Here the beautiful weather is favourable every time of the year: during the winter months, between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM, rarely temperatures go under 10/12° C; during the summer occasionally it goes over the 30 / 33° C, moreover in this time of the year the gentle mistral refreshs the pinewood assuring always a perfect climate. Is Arenas is  a 18 Holes (par 72) golf course of 6300 m with 3 executive holes designed and created by the famous American golf architect Robert Von Hagge. In 2002 Is Arenas has been rewarded as the best new Golf Course in Italy and in 2003 it has been considered as one of the 20 best Golf Course in Italy. Is Arenas Golf course is well known as one of the top in the Mediterranean area for its technical and environmental beauty.

Sardinian cuisine covers a wide range of seafood and meat dishes. Is Arenas Golf Hotel, strategically located on the west coast of Sardinia, not far from the wetlands, is the perfect place to try seafood specialties paired with wetland produce, as well as the classic spit-roasted suckling pig, a traditional dish from Cagliari. In addition to the restaurant, there are also two bars where you can enjoy a cocktail in good company. One is located in the lounge and has an outdoor veranda; the other, “Tadori” snack bar, can be found in the swimming pool area and has a patio and a veranda.

Beach Club Is Arenas Resort
The Beach Club Is Arenas offers to all guests the possibility of enjoying a lovely lunch of either meat or fish, directly on the beach! The Beach Club is open all day, from 10 to midnight and welcomes you to have a snack, an aperitif, a delicious dinner of either fish that has just been caught or our selected meat. Lunch or dinner with fresh grilled fish just caught and grilled meat. Snacks and aperitifs available all day à la carte menu.

Outdoor Pool
Relax your body on the loungers at our pool and choose to stay under the parasol or suntan leave the beautiful and warm sun of Sardinia. The swimming pool of the Golf Hotel Is Arenas is perfectly integrated with the surrounding environment, surrounded by the typical vegetation of Mediterranean. Let our massage tub, remaining comfortably resting at the pool. Our guests will be able to access the pool directly from the Hotel or from the park, through the "paths" in the shade of the pine forest that characterizes the whole area of the Is Arenas. Destination: 

The area surrounding the Is Arenas Golf Hotel is characterized by beautiful white quartz beaches, lush vegetation, and wildlife - this is Sinis, waiting to be explored! You will be amazed by the animals and vegetation in the Seu Municipal Park, just beyond San Giovanni di Sinis. Cabras is renowned for the prized lake-dwelling mullet, which gives us “Sardinian caviar”, more commonly known as bottarga. There are numerous seafood restaurants in Cabras. You can also visit the ancient town of Tharros (1000-700 B.C.). On the way to Tharros you will find the fifth century Byzantine church of San Giovanni di Sinis, the oldest architectural testament to the Christian era in Sardinia. Arutas beach is one of the most spectacular stretches of beach in the area. It is located along the Sinis countryside. Another beach that is worth visiting is the Maimoni beach, with silky soft white quartz sand, surrounded by typical Mediterranean vegetation.
Capo San Marco is at the southernmost point of Sinis, right on the seaside. There is a beautiful walking trail along the coastline on the right of the promontory, perfect for a stroll with friends and for enjoying breathtaking views.
For the more adventurous, there are wonderful hiking trails in the Montiferru mountain range, where you can escape from the searing heat of the Sardinian summer.
